The Greenwich, Connecticut, Fire Department chose a 10′-diameter 30,000-gallon Xerxes fiberglass tank for their fire suppression needs at the Greenwhich Audubon Society main facility at John Street in Greenwich. The decision to use Xerxes was easy as the fire department had previous experiences installing our FRP tanks at numerous locations throughout the town.

The Greenwich Audubon Society, located in a rural area, is a 285-acre environmental sanctuary and environmental education center that was constructed in 2003. As a result of being located in a rural area, they are dependent on fire cisterns for the water supply.
