ZCL’s core business is the manufacture and distribution of fibreglass liquid storage systems, including the manufacture of fibreglass underground and fibreglass aboveground storage tanks and related products and accessories. Our vision is "to be the leading global provider of environmentally friendly liquid storage, fluid handling and corrosion resistant industrial products."
ZCL was incorporated in 1987 under the Canada Business Corporations Act, and has grown to become Canada’s leading supplier of fibreglass liquid storage systems. An unrelenting drive to provide solutions to meet the needs of customers, and to manufacture superior products that "simply will not corrode" has helped make ZCL the preferred choice in many industrial, consumer and retail sectors. The Company has approximately 90% of the Canadian major and independent oil company underground storage tank market, most of whom have adopted ZCL’s technology as the standard for their retail networks.
The Company has led the way in innovative fibreglass tank technology, from the ULC listed single-wall storage tank in 1988, to the development and introduction of the first fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) double-wall tank manufactured in Canada. The same proven technology and processes are used in ZCL’s secondary containment, and tank lining systems. The Company continues to innovate with expanding product lines of fibreglass tanks and accessories for the safe storage of petroleum products, hazardous liquids, sewage and water, as well as liquid storage solutions for many industries. We remain committed to continue to set the standards for economical, environmentally safe and long-lasting liquid storage technology.
